rain, rain, go away

I love a good storm! But the kids I babysit, were not as happy about the rain as I was. Today I had to be up at 4:30 to babysit...boo! I babysit every day that I don't have class. I love kids...so I've always really enjoyed babysitting. For the past couple years, I've been babysitting two of my favorite kids-Kyra and Kaiden Sharp! Kyra is four years old and Kaiden is three. I feel really lucky to get to babysit them because they are such great kids. Kyra is going to be our flower girl! When I first asked Kyra to be my flower girl, I don't think she quite understood what I meant. Kyra is a girly girl...so she was very excited after I explained what her role would consist of! She is going to make such a sweet flower girl!
Kyra and Kaiden are nothing alike. I've always found it so interesting how two kids can be raised the exact same way and still be so completely different! That's how I feel about me and Josh. Kyra is very sensitive. She will cry if I simply look like I'm going to get on to her about something. And it's not the kind of cry where you know they are doing it just to get out of trouble. It's like she's heart broken that I'm upset with her. Kyra is a very mature four year old. She likes to take care of Kaiden. Kyra is very good about following the rules and just being good.
Kaiden is a whole different story! He is mischevious and playful. He is very independent and I'm starting to believe that he actually enjoys breaking the rules! I don't think Kaiden has a sensitive bone in him! I will get on to him and it doesn't affect him in the least. Because he has this michevious way about him, he is very funny! He loves making people laugh and he does a very good job of it!
