a great day

Today was a great day. Josh had Regionals today and he came in 17th...only 2 spots from qualifying for Semi-State! He cut his time by 30 seconds! He did a great job :)

Chris and I got to hang out all day...which was great too! I stole a few recipes and I cooked tonight. I made Sour Cream Enchiladas--I stole that recipe from my Mom. I have to say--my Mom is the Queen of cooking. And for dessert I made a Peach Cobbler--I stole that recipe from
Maria. Here recently, Chris and I went over to Brian and Maria's for dinner and she made a Peach Cobbler. It was so good I had to call her for the recipe! Maria's a great cook too!

Chris had to go to the Face's of Christ Retreat tonight to pray for someone he works with. It was in Henryville, so on our way back we stopped at the Henryville Forestry to climb the fire tower. Let me just say that this was Chris's idea COMPLETELY! I am afraid of heights and to make things worse, it was really dark outside...so you could hardly see the steps! For Chris, I'm sure it was amusing to see me in such a panic. It was beautiful once we got to the top though...as long as I didn't look down :)

I'm pooped---and so I'm off to bed
