Chris and I were made aware that all of our neighbors were Obama supporters when we put our McCain sign up in our front yard. I'm guessing that their kids are Obama supporters as well because we woke up this morning to chanting outside. At first, we couldn't understand what they were saying. But it quickly became more clear to us that they were chanting "OBAMA! OBAMA! OBAMA!" with an occasional outburst of the song Were Not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister:
"Oh We're Not Gonna Take It!
No, We Ain't Gonna Take It!
Oh We're Not Gonna Take It Anymore!"
All the while, they are laughing their heads off. I wanted to go outside and yell "It's not funnnyyyyy!!!!!!!"....which caused me to think of this video. At the end of this video, this child displays my feelings perfectly. The facial expressions, the frustration, everything. Enjoy.

I think that is extremely sad. My children asked about both candidates, and I explained as delicately as I could their basic beliefs, and just from that, they decided that "Mr. Obama is not a good man." They are 6 & 8, and they figured it out. Why couldn't the rest of the country?

It is very sad to me that children would do this but they are only following their parents blind lead. I just keep trying to tell myself it is God's will. At least they didn't egg your house :)

lUKE-E Chanted (while pumping his fist up and down)" Go McCain " while we were in line to vote. lol A day or two after Obama won I was telling the kids that God was in control, we had to respect Obama's position as our president (not agree with what he does), and pray for him...that is what God tells us to do. Luke looked at me, and said I'm not praying for him, I'm praying for McCain! I guess even lil ones have trouble praying for those who offend/make them mad.
