Rufus has recently become the nastiest eater ever. He practically shoves his entire face into his bowl and I have to wipe his face down after he's finished. Chris and I refer to him as Stinky McStink Face.
We've also realized that Rufus has a huge fear...scary/violent movie music. During happy movies, Rufus is as cool as a cucumber. But if the movie is suspenseful, violent, or scary it sends him into full panic mode. He starts scratching me (his way of letting me know he wants to be held). If we don't hold him, he will literally crawl all over us and lay on our faces. He becomes super needy. He reacts that way to thunderstorms and fireworks too.
We first noticed it when we were watching the Lord Of The Rings. At first we thought it might be Frodo's feet, because those are anxiety attack worthy, but no ... it's definitely the scary sounds because he did the same thing last night while we were watching The Godfather. Poor Rufus.
New topic---My aunt Tina bought this book for Lincoln. Thanks Tina! It's so sweet! She had given this book to my mom to give to us. My Mom read the book to Chris and I, and she insisted that we touch every page :)
This is very random but I couldn't not mention it---I had been eyeing these shoes at Target for quite some time now. I wanted them very badly, but not enough to pay full price. They finally went on sale and are now sitting in my closet! They were the very last pair in my size. Let me just say that I wouldn't have been able to find them had it not been for my super sweet, patient husband who took me to 2 different Targets on Saturday :)

Brooklyn saw the picture of Rufus and wanted to kiss him...and did. She loves your stinky face dog.
For me, it was more of if I can wear them, because they are cute shoes, but if I can't comfortably spend 10 hours in them, it isn't worth it for me since I am only shopping for work clothes and shoes since I am not working in nursing anymore I have to get more professional clothes and shoes.
