Yesterday I ran errands with my mom for a good portion of the day. I felt fine while we were out, other than some pressure in my lower abdomen. When I got home, I started feeling queasy and shortly after that I threw up. I had a pretty bad headache too. By that evening, I was feeling back to normal but then I spotted. When I woke up this morning I had a headache again and I was feeling achy all over. I called the doctor's office and they asked me to come in. My mom took me, since it was such short notice. The Nurse Practitioner checked his heartbeat and he sounded great. Then she measured him, and he's still measuring a couple weeks bigger than average. She told me that the pressure I was feeling was normal and it's probably from where he's dropped lower. Then she checked me and told me that I was a little dilated but it was nothing to worry about.
Dr. Riely asked that we go ahead and do the ultrasound to see where my placenta was. My placenta is completely out of the way! Yea! Lincoln looked perfect. We could see him sucking and the ultrasound technician said he was sticking his tongue out! He's still head down, so that's good news! I will still have my appointment with Dr. Riely on Monday.

I hate that pressure. It feels like your walking with a watermelon between your legs.
Glad to hear all is well.
I'll be praying everything goes well. Sounds like you might be the lucky kind that actually goes into labor around you due date. What time is your appt? I have my annual appt with Dr Riely on Monday as well.
My appt is at 8am...
I won't be there till 2, hope everything goes well.
Chris & Megan:
This is my first time to send you a post/comment, but I've been keeping up with your blog from it's beginning. What a beautiful couple you both are. I love all that "lovie stuff" and "cute notes" - back and forth to one another. From someone who will soon be married 35 years in June, NEVER allow satan or anyone to rob you of your Love for one another and God.
Keeping GOD first in your marriage, as you are doing, many, many more blessing will rain down upon you.
Sounds like your going to be parents quicker than you thought?
Please know that my Prayers & Thoughts are with you three, even though the miles may seperate us.
Enjoy every moment of it and share the experience with your Mother's & Chris. (I will supply the tissues if you'd like.)
You'll never ever regret it!
This will be one the greatest moments in your life, so get the video & digital camera batteries charged NOW... haha
I'll continue to check on your progress.
Just relax and enjoy the journey of childbirth. After all, you'll have many angelical visitors in your room watching over
God's "Special Delivery."
With lot's of Love,
