I came home from work today and was greeted by a great surprise. Megan had put out our fall/Halloween decorations. We have a pumpkin that lights up, garland made of leaves, ceramic haunted houses and my favorite ... Jack Skellington, along with his rag doll girlfriend, Sally. They sit on our shelf bringing to mind songs from one of my favorite movies, The Nightmare Before Christmas. I've been humming "Making Christmas" all night!
I also like these decorations because they remind me of two special occasions. 1.) Our honeymoon in Disney World where we found these stuffed versions of Jack and Sally. 2.) The date night that Megan and I saw Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D. Good times.
