1 Year

Dear Baby Boy,

It's hard to believe that a year ago, your sweet face came into this world. We have thoroughly loved spending the last 365 days with you. We've sat on the edge of our seats, watching a seemingly never-ending parade of firsts: smile, laugh, sit up, crawl, walk, dadda, dance, swing. Every one of them brought us so much joy. It always made us a little sad when you outgrew a set of your baby clothes. We'd pack them up and carry them to the basement, thinking you were that much closer into becoming a big boy. When we look at you now we still see a baby, but we're also starting to see a boy. We couldn't be prouder of you.

You wear a size 4 diaper. You wear 18 months and 24 months size clothes.

You have loved going for walks in your stroller ever since it warmed up.

You love swinging in the baby swing at the park.

Your favorite books are Puppy and Friends and B is for Bear.



You wear a size 5 shoe.

You love play time with your daddy. You get extremely hyper, loud, and happy. We love it.

You can say Dadda, Momma, Mimi, Dosh (Josh), No no no no, Bye Bye, and Hi!

You wave goodbye and you are very enthusiastic about it.



You love to play with cell phones. You hold them up to your ear and talk and talk and talk!

You love Sesame Street.

You love taking a bath. You could sit in the bath tub for hours! You love drinking the water. You love drinking it so much, that we usually have to cut your bath time short.

You still love to play with anything other than your toys.

You are a lover. You are constantly giving kisses and hugs.



You love playing hide and seek, and peek-a-boo.

You can dance! Seriously, you can boogie down like a pro ... to the beat! There are certain songs that when they come on, it doesn't matter what you're doing, you start dancing. It's hilarious.

You love to eat. We tried to come up with a few of your favorite foods, but after a few minutes we decided it was too hard to pick just a few! You love them all!!!

You are a super loud eater. You say "Mmmmm! Mmmmm! Mmmmm!" the entire time. You had a cold a couple days ago, and we were worried about you because you were eating quietly. hahaha



You go to bed every night between 7:30 and 8:00. You usually wake up between 6:30 and 7:30 in the morning.

You have 8 teeth---four on the top and four on the bottom.

You love having your hair brushed. The other day you almost fell asleep sitting up as I brushed your hair.

You have sandy blonde hair and very blue eyes. Your hair looks really crazy when you wake up. Your daddy refers to it as "crazy clown hair."

You are a morning person, just like you're momma.
