We celebrated Lincoln's birthday the weekend after his birthday. There was Sesame Street everywhere and Lincoln LOVED it! He would randomly point and scream "ELMO!!!" every few seconds :) It was a great day. Be sure to watch the video of Lincoln blowing out his birthday candles ... he is sooo precious!
Lincoln on his new tricycle....the face he's making here cracks us up!
I love that you guys wore Elmo shirts also! Such good sports...and parents. :-) I'm also so happy to hear that Lincoln had a good time at Sesame Street Live! We went on Saturday evening also. I wish we could have met up; Ade was so excited after the program.
I am a wife to the man of my dreams, mother to our beautiful son, and a follower of Christ. You can often find me blogging, when I should be cleaning my house, making babyfood, reading books by Jodi Picoult, cooking for my family, making fabric softener, drinking white frapps, laying out in my backyard, toting Lincoln around in his sling, taking photographs, changing dirty diapers, or playing piano.
Life for me revolves around family, work and church. My day job is working at The Southeast Outlook, the newspaper ministry of Southeast Christian Church, where I write and edit. At home, I help my wife, Megan, raise our son Lincoln. My duties vary but I specialize in emptying the Diaper Genie, feeding Lincoln pear juice, and tracking down his binkey. I enjoy working out and running, going to coffee shops for frozen mochas, painting, NPR (but only because I need to know what the liberals are up to), and eating my wife’s cooking. Most of I all I enjoy spending time with my wife and son. Life couldn’t get much better.
Born on St. Patrick’s Day of 2009, I am Chris and Megan’s firstborn son. Because I can barely roll over, my hobbies are few. I spend most of my time eating, sleeping, crying, and pooping. I do smile on occasion and say “ah goo” a few times a day---to the delight of my parents. My formal name is Lincoln but I’m also called Linc Linc, Slinkey, Linc, Sir CriesAlot, and Cranky Pants. I love my binkey, pear juice, bath time, cuddling, and my bouncy seat. My pet peeves are having my fingernails clipped, inoculations, sitting in a soiled diaper, and the boogey sucker.
At age 4, I am Chris and Megan’s furry child. I recently learned I was adopted. My birth parents are Pea, a Malt-Tzu, and Popcorn, a Maltese. One day I hope to meet them. My best friend is Parker, a Yorkshire Terrier. My hobbies include going for long walks, eating greenies, marking my territory in the neighborhood, taking fourteen-hour naps, chasing squirrels, and riding in the car. I’m also known as Sir LicksAlot.
I live in Brazil with my mom and dad. I enjoy playing with cars, art and walking. The Birke family sponsors me so that I can have clean water, better food, and so I can learn about God. If you would like to sponsor a child click on my picture.
