these are a few of my favorite things: shutterfly photo books!

Here's a little secret about me -- I dread printing photos ... like the plague. I love taking the photos, staring at them on my computer, editing them, blogging them, but please don't ask me to sit down and pick which ones  I want printed and the sizes...oh, the sizes! There's just so many pictures, and sizes, and different places to have them printed, and questions like "what frame will I put that photo in?" and "where did I save that one photo that I love so much?" that it just drives me bonkers. I typically decide I'm going to print some photos, and then I get on my computer and stare blankly for about an hour and then convince myself to do it tomorrow. Another secret about me that's probably not a secret...I am crazy.   There, I said it. I am getting way off track here.

Focus! I knew when I started blogging about my sweet boy that I would some day like to turn his posts into a little book for him. Now you know why it's almost four years later and I am just now showing you the book from his first year. Eek! Bad mom of the year award...again. I could have avoided all of this by just not telling you about it in the first place...but it's just too cute not to share! I am in LOVE with Shutterfly's photo books! It wasn't nearly as complicated as some of the other websites I tried out. And I was super pleased with the quality of the book and their prices! AND they make really sweet Christmas presents :-) Can you tell I love this book?! Probably because it's all about my precious baby boy who isn't a baby anymore...

I included his birth story ....

and all of those monthly posts and his pictures with Mr. Blue Bear

and just worked my way through all of our favorite pics and sweet things about him from his first year.

We ended it with a letter we wrote to him when he turned one.

The best part is Lincoln loves it! He loves seeing the pictures of himself in a book and hearing all of the silly things he did when he was an itty bitty baby.

Last thing I'm gonna say...MAKE A PHOTO BOOK! :-)
