my family bridal shower

Today was my family bridal shower. We had such a great time! We ate first and then we played a couple games. Hilary won one of the games and her gift was a recipe book. I'm sure she loved that! I told her she could give it to her Mom. You can thank me later Christina ;) I opened my gifts, which has always been uncomfortable for me. Something about everyone staring at me and watching for my reaction to the gifts that they spent money on makes me a little uncomfortable...I dunno, call me crazy! But I loved everything!

Chris and I got so many nice things. My Dad surprised me with a digital picture frame that showed pictures of me and him from when I was little until now and it played the song "I Loved Her First". There was a picture at the end of Chris and I together. Isn't that sweet! My cousin Kalynn got us a wedding snow globe with our names and wedding date engraved on it. We got lots of things off of our registry too. We have all of our bedding now so we can paint our bedroom! I will post before and after pictures once we are done.

After I got done opening gifts, we ate cake. My aunt Chrissy got it from the same place that is doing our wedding cake. It was really pretty and it tasted great too! Chris and the rest of the guys came over for cake after everyone else started to leave. We had a great time. Thanks everyone!
