I went over to Chris' house one day this past week and found this...Mr. Potato Head standing on a basket, staring out the sliding glass door that leads to the back yard. After questioning Chris about this, he informed me that a bird had been flying into the glass door for days. Being concerned that the bird would end up killing itself from repeatedly ramming it's head into the door, he came up with a plan...Mr. Potato Head would scare the bird away! So far, his plan has been unsuccessful. :)

it's good to know that Chris cares about the birds hitting the window....I got hit in the head by a bird stuck in mom and dads house trying to get back out the window the other day.....If only I would have brought my handy dandy mr potato head :0)
put a balloon outside in front of the window. it totally works. we've got redbirds that knock on our windows and this keeps them away.
