another great day

Mom and I ran wedding errands today. We got some things accomplished and had a great time! While we were out, I decided I would surprise Chris at work with one of those edible fruit bouquets. To make sure that Chris was in his office, I called him when I got there and asked him to look something up on the computer for me. I walk into his office while he is searching online for someone's phone number that I don't actually need. It was hilarious. He didn't even look at me when I walked in. He just continued staring intently at the computer screen. He was making a face that said, "Don't disturb me...I'm busy doing something very important." When he realized that our phone call had been disconnected, he looked down at the phone in confusion and then at me. His face was priceless! He said that he realized that someone was waiting on him in his office...he just didn't know that it was me! He loved the fruit and had eaten the entire thing by the end of the day.

Tonight I took Chris out on a date. That means I got to drive too! We went to Jeeves & Company in Scottsburg for dinner. We love that place...and that's where Chris proposed to me. Eating there tonight brought back many happy memories :) After dinner we went to the drive-in to see Iron Man. Luckily it wasn't raining during the movie. To sum it up--today was a great day.
