our busy evening

Chris and I attended ROCK's conference tonight. We are very excited about everything they're doing! Our friend Rachel Loy works for them and we think that's awesome too! We were very proud to see lots of familiar faces of CIC members at the conference as well. I ran into Gary Allen shortly after arriving, and he made sure to throw in a "God Willing" statement just for me :) ha! If you are clueless as to what I'm talking about, click here to read an old post of mine.

Before the conference even began, Pat Brown, Kathy, Theresa Divine, and Lana all seperately told me that they had saved me a seat so that I didn't have to stand. They said they didn't want me being uncomfortable or for my feet to swell. How sweet is that?! I did find it kind of hilarious too :) I ended up standing in the back with Chris.

After the conference, we grabbed a Starbucks and headed to my not-so-little brother's varsity basketball game. They didn't win, but Josh played great! He's such an athlete. They were playing New Washington, so we got to visit with my aunt Chrissy too!

Now Chris is jumping rope in the garage, I'm blogging, and Rufus is snuggling me and warming my feet at the same time :) My mom is going to be very jealous. She was always using Rufus for his body heat.

Sounds like you had a busy busy day! I am trying to get through work today and tomorrow, and not get too excited about coming home on thursday, so far it isn't working so well. I miss you!

my dog bella lays right next to me on the couch when i'm on my laptop.. she keeps me warm by her body heat and i think my laptop keeps her warm from blowing the hot air out the side of it...
