Baby It's Cold Outside

Today was our second annual trip to Huber's for hunting down the perfect Christmas tree.

It began by sleeping in until 10:30 ... at least Chris and Rufus slept that long.

On the way to pick up Chris' dad's truck we listened to holiday music courtesy of Chris Morgan. It was a great Christmas gift!

At Huber's we selected the saw to cut down our tree.

The wagon ride to the trees was a cold one this year.

There are literally hundreds to choose from.

We thought about choosing this Charlie Brown tree :)

Instead we got a 6 ft. tall Douglas Fur. Here it is being sent through a machine that wraps it tight with string.

The bound up tree ... kind of sad :(

Here's the tree just waiting for lights and decorations.

The next five ornaments are special ones to us. My mom bought most of them.

Here's the finished product! Merry Christmas!

Love the tree. I am tempted to switch to a live tree next year. They look so much fuller! My tree has so many holes and I can't seem to fill them with the branches from the artificial tree.

So sweet. We get the kids one every year, since they were born...we have enough now that "their" ornaments are the only one hanging. (with candy canes) So special and personal :)Yours are great. You will love hanging them up each year..we always talk about ours as we do it..such great memories!
