the dryer

Rufus started going nuts while I was in the shower today. He was nervously barking and practically trying to get in the shower with me. I pick Rufus up once I'm out of the shower and he's shaking all over and his heart is pounding. After a couple minutes of holding his trembling body I realize what it is he's so afraid of--the dryer. Or to be more exact, he's afraid of the loud buzzer that goes off several times towards the end of the cycle. Rufus gets somewhat panicky when he's alone too. I'm pretty sure the combination of him being alone and the loud buzz coming from the basement are what did him in. Poor baby.

OK, as someone who follows your blog, I have a couple questions... Are you going to be a stay at home mom? Are you planning a natural chid-birth? Just curious :)

Poor little Rufus! Aunt Chrissy is coming to see him on Friday and I am going to give him alot of TLC. He's so tender! (Just like me). = }

Gretchen-

First of all, let me say that I love your very random yet important questions! Too much fun :)

1. I am going back to school in the Fall after Lincoln is born. I have about a year left. I plan on working part-time after that...but seeing as how neither of us have ever had a baby before, we will just have to wait and see! We want what's best for Lincoln.

2. I would love to be able to have Lincoln naturally and that's what we're shooting for. I hear that I will change my mind once those contractions kick in, and that very well may be true!

I realize that those answers are pretty wish washy, but it's just hard to say for sure. Thanks for the questions!

my dog lacey won't even go into our laundry room... i don't know if its just like the sound of the washer and dryer going... or if its the buzzer on the dryer.. either way she stays clear of that room. haha... i'd hate to think what she'd do if she was trapped in there...

Thanks for the response. Sorry if I seem nosy (I guess I am) as a fellow mommy I was just wondering what your plans were for your upcoming birth and life with baby :) I'll pray that you can get through the birth drug free and that you enjoy mothehood to the fullest.
