For those of you who are worried about our first baby, Rufus---he will be staying at my parent's house the next few days. We know he will have a great time chasing squirrels in their backyard. He probably won't want to come home!
Here's Rufus before we left :' (
Chris and I have received lots of advice from other moms. One piece of advice we've decided to take is to limit hospital visitors to family. We've heard that it can be an overwhelming time for new parents. Also, we know that Lincoln's immune system won't be fully developed and we want to protect him from as many germs as possible! :) The good news is that Maria will be updating the blog, so no one will miss out on seeing our new baby boy! Please keep us in your prayers tomorrow!

I will be thinking of you guys.
So exciting... can we get hour by hour updates? :-)
Don't think of it as your last meal. I had Kansai the night that Ellie was born. I am sure that could be arranged for you too.
Good luck.
I lie here on this cold tile floor thinking of better days.....when mom and dad put me first. Those were the days before "their precious" Lincoln, the screaming child was born. The master of this home that I have been abandoned in keeps repeating.....its over. You will never be #1 again. I have never bit anyone before but I think I am going to try....... no......he kills animals for the sport of it....I better rethink this whole situation. Talk to you later, I hope...........................
