late birthday

Chris' dad's birthday was a couple weeks ago but we haven't been able to celebrate his birthday with him because he's been sick. He and Kathy are all better now, so we took them to Ruben's for dinner on Saturday. Lincoln went too and did great! Before dinner, Chris and I went to Adrienne & Company to pick up Denny's birthday cake. Hilary and Julian both work there now. Hilary got to write the "Happy Birthday" on Denny's cake and she did a great job!

After dinner, Denny helped Chris cut down some huge tree limbs in our back yard. Kathy and I walked Lincoln around the neighborhood for most of the time, but at some point Kathy sent me to the back yard to see how things were going and this is what I saw...

As you can see, there is no one on the ladder. If you look closely though, you will see Denny is up in the tree!!



The only thing we could do to get Denny out of the tree, was tell him that it was time to eat cake. Luckily Denny wasn't injured during his birthday celebration :) Happy Late Birthday, Denny!
