Weight Loss Wednesday Friday {Day 30}

So Wednesday was the last day in my 30 Day Shred Challenge. As you may have noticed, I didn't update you on my progress last week. That's because I didn't have much progress last week. Actually, I didn't have any progress at all! I lost 0 pounds and gained 0 pounds. I'm not all that surprised though. As you read in Chris' post, these past couple weeks have been crazy---with lots of runs to Jimmy Johns and very few runs to the basement to workout.

I didn't make my goal of losing 20 pounds in 30 days, but I did lose 8 pounds and that's better than none! I know I could have lost a lot more had I put more effort into it these last two weeks, and that's why I'm going to give it another round. On Monday, I will be starting my second 30 Day Shred!

For those of you who we're joining me in this weight loss journey, I'd love to hear how you did!

Aww. I like Chris's comment.
OK. So I didn't do the Shred.
I started it and then Neil, in his bouncer, stared at the television and I thought, I don't want him staring at ladies in spandex at such a young age, or EVER! anyway, I turned it off and never turned it back on. That was Day 1. Here we are 29 days later and I have GAINED 2 pounds. You can be really, really sad for me right now.
Your 8 pound loss is inspiring.
As for me, I am getting my thyroid checked on Tuesday.
And when that comes back normal, I'll be Shredding it up this month, FOR SURE. Or at least when Philip is home to watch Neil in another room so I can be tortured by Jillian.
And that is my pathetic story.
But...
YOU ROCK.
EIGHT POUNDS!!! That's about as much as Neil was when he was born. You lost a Neil!

Eight pounds is awesome. Better than nothing at all. :-) Thanks for putting yourself out there and being so vulnerable to share. Now that's inspiring to see.

Eight pounds in a month is fantastic! And a very healthy pace to lose weight! Good for you! I thought I'd join you after Ethiopia, but I came home and ate everything that I couldn't have there, and I think mostly on the first day! But this time around, most definitely - can you cook for me too? :)
